We need your help. We entered our gluten-free chocolate/chocolate chip cupcakes in the www.gourmetgirlmagazine.com virtual cupcake contest. Have you checked it out yet? Can you guess which one is the gluten-free cupcake? All right, all right, it might be fairly obvious to those of you who are familiar with gluten-free baking, but when you keep in mind that our entry is eggless too, the cupcakes start looking pretty impressive. (They had to post it right on top of the custard doughnut-looking one didn’t they?)
I can promise you one thing: they taste like moist brownies with melted white chocolate inside…really they do! But here is the thing – we need your votes! Celiacs unite! We need to show others that gluten-free baking could be just as exciting as baking with gluten. So go onto the website, click on “time to cast your ballot” on the right hand side of the page. Then scroll down and look at all the cupcakes briefly. Don’t focus on them too much because your mouth will start watering and you will forget all about gluten-free living. When you hit the gluten-free one, feign excitement if you have to, and scroll down and vote for it. Then we can all go to our kitchens and try to make that custard doughnut-looking one gluten-free!
